Can you believe Thanksgiving is already next week? I feel like ever since I started working, the weeks have been flying by so incredibly fast. I barely even registered the entirety of the previous month. In any case, I’m happy to announce that I’ve survived my first busy season at work, and am looking forward to a lovely Friendsgiving this weekend.
I think the time from fall to winter is the most romantic time of the year. And while the changing seasons will never be as magical in Southern California compared to some places, the weather stays forgiving enough that light layering is all you really need to make it through most days.
For my OOTD, I decided to create a Fall-inspired look with a touch of romance. I have on a crinkled, chic sheer top and paired it with thigh high boots to give the look a bit of an edge. Underneath, I wore a gray skort and a tan tank top, but anything neutral will work. This top also has a ruffle trim which, as mentioned in my last post, has been a major trend this season.
I kept my accessory small and simple – a leather shoulder bag. With every major neutral color incorporated into its striped design, this bag will go with everything. I was lucky enough to get this on sale last season, and it’s been my favorite bag to carry so far. With that final detail, the outfit is complete.
Simple. Romantic. Adorable.
What’s your idea of a romantic Fall look?
